Terms of service
Last updated 27 August 2026.
These terms are an honest draft for Atlasly, a product of Parallel Labs Ltd (company number 17193393). They are not a substitute for legal advice. By using atlasly.app you agree to them.
1. Who we are
Parallel Labs Ltd. Registered office: 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ. We work from Manchester. Contact: parallellabs@atlasly.app.
2. The service
Atlasly is first-pass cited screening for UK sites at Stage 0-2 / pre-construction. It pulls public planning, flood, heritage, and related datasets and shows sources. Some tools (including Image to CAD) produce drawings you can use as an underlay.
Outputs are estimates and screens. They are not:
- a flood risk assessment (FRA);
- planning advice, a planning statement, or a decision;
- a measured survey;
- a guarantee that an application will be approved, refused, or validated;
- legal, structural, environmental, or contaminated-land advice.
You remain responsible for professional judgement, for commissioning named reports when a project needs them, and for checking live official sources (including GOV.UK, the Environment Agency, Historic England, and the local planning authority).
We do not claim native DWG, SketchUp, or Revit as advertised capabilities in these terms. Use the export formats the product actually offers on the day you download, and verify the file in your CAD tool.
3. Accounts
You need an account (Clerk) for some features, including CAD downloads on Image to CAD. Keep your login to yourself. You are responsible for activity under your account.
Do not use Atlasly to break the law, scrape in a way that harms the service, reverse engineer for a competing product, or upload material you have no right to use.
We may suspend an account that looks abusive or that puts other customers at risk. We will email the address on the account where we reasonably can.
4. Plans and payment
Current prices are on /pricing. Paid plans are billed through Stripe.
The live pricing page says monthly billing can be cancelled from Settings, and that annual plans are 30% cheaper and refundable pro-rata within 14 days. If that page and these terms ever disagree, treat the pricing page as the commercial offer until we update this section.
Taxes: VAT treatment UNKNOWN. We will state VAT on invoices when that is confirmed.
Student Professional access is reviewed by email. Do not send an identity card unless we ask.
5. Data and privacy
How we handle personal data is in /privacy. Site inputs and uploads you put into Atlasly are used to provide the screen or conversion you asked for. We do not sell your project files as a marketing list.
Public share links, if you create them, are visible to anyone with the link for as long as they stay live. Duration of share links: UNKNOWN in this draft (do not invent a 30-day number).
6. Intellectual property
We own Atlasly, the site, and our trade marks. You own your project inputs. You get a licence to use outputs for your own professional work. You do not get a licence to resell Atlasly as a standalone data product.
Official datasets remain subject to their own licences (for example Ordnance Survey, Environment Agency, Historic England). Citation in Atlasly does not replace those terms.
7. Availability
We aim to keep Atlasly up. We do not promise uninterrupted access, error-free maps, or complete coverage of every constraint in England, Wales, Scotland, or Northern Ireland. Coverage gaps are possible. Status: /resources/status.
8. Liability
Atlasly is a screen, not a sign-off. To the fullest extent permitted by English law we are not liable for planning delay, abortive fees, site purchase decisions, or design work based solely on an Atlasly output.
We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else the law does not let us exclude. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights stay intact.
A numbered cap on other losses (for example fees paid in the previous 12 months): UNKNOWN. We have not set one in this draft.
9. English law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, without limiting any consumer right to sue in your home court if that right applies.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top will change. Continued use after a posted change is acceptance of the new terms, except where the law requires us to ask you again.
